He has long been engaged in the research of medical information in different orientations such as medical and health big data, clinical decision support, medical artificial intelligence, biomedical signal processing, medical image processing and analysis and visualization, medical information system. For multi-source, heterogeneous and complex medical information, he has established a complete technological system ranging from medical information accessibility and availability, to integration of information and data, to effective development and utilization of data, and opened up space for the development of medical big data and artificial intelligence research. He has developed China’s first evoked potential analyzer, designed and developed a dynamic ECG analysis system. The information systems designed by him such as ECG analysis, diagnostic imaging and physiological exam have been applied in over 1,000 large-scale medical institutions in countries and regions such as Europe, America and Japan. He has published over 200 research papers on major academic journals at home and abroad, published one textbook, won multiple national inventions and computer software copyrights. Three research achievements of his have passed the certification of scientific and technological achievements at provincial and ministry levels. He has won one second national prize for progress in science and technology, one first prize of the army for progress in science and technology and one first prize of Zhejiang Province for science and technology.
